Forum on Public Funding of Art

A panel discussion on the issues surrounding public funding for controversial artworks will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday at Pomona College’s Seaver House, 333 N. College Way, Claremont.

Sponsored by the college’s public policy analysis program, the panel will include Robert Mezey, poet in residence and professor of English; Thomas Willette, visiting assistant professor of art; Los Angeles-based photographer Alan Sekulas, and Mary Kay Bailey, director of the Los Angeles Music Center Theater Group.
