Offices to Close for Veterans Day
San Diego city and county offices will close today in observance of Veterans Day. City and county libraries as well as federal and state courts also will close. City-metered parking will not be enforced. Trash will be picked up on a normal schedule. The Miramar Landfill is open 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., but the Montgomery Landfill will close. City lakes will operate on a normal schedule, but residents should check with neighborhood recreation centers for their holiday hours.
