UC Irvine Faces Nosso Club Brazil Tonight
UC Irvine’s basketball team takes on Nosso Club Brazil in its second and last exhibition game of the season at 7:30 tonight in the Bren Center.
Irvine is coming off a 99-96 victory over High Five America Wednesday. Rod Palmer, Justin Anderson and Jeff Herdman each scored 18 points.
Anderson was seven for nine from the field, including four for four in three-point shots. Herdman, who came off the bench Wednesday, will start at forward, replacing Mike Labat.
Nosso Club is opening a nine-game American tour and is led by 6-foot-9 center Joel Sances (20 points per game) and guard Carlos Romano (18-point average).
