Times handicapper Bob Mieszerski opened the Hollywood Park meeting with a mythical $1,000 bankroll. On Wednesday’s opening card, he bet $20 across on Portal in the third race. Portal finished last, resulting in a loss of $60.
Bob will make at least one wager on racing days. He could make a straight win bet, he could make a daily double bet, he could make an exacta bet, he could make other exotic bets, or any combination of bets. But, he will make at least one bet.
For Thursday, Bob will make $10 doubles bets from Lou’s Fast, B’Gotcha and Wyoming in the first to Cool And Sedate in the second.
