Canadian-born Gary Boulanger, riding his first meeting at Hollywood Park, won his second feature race in as many days Thursday when he rallied 6-1 shot Annual Reunion from far off the pace to win a $28,000 allowance event for 2-year-old fillies.

Boulanger, who had been riding in Northern California and Washington until early this month, also took the opening-day Moccasin Stakes aboard Owiseone on Wednesday.

The rider, who will celebrate his 22nd birthday Sunday, moved Annual Reunion to a head victory over Nasers Pride, who had opened up a four-length lead entering the stretch, in the 1 1/16-mile race.
