Westwood : Campaign to Limit Terms
A meeting to organize support for a Los Angeles City Charter amendment limiting the terms of the mayor, City Council, controller and city attorney to two consecutive four-year terms will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Westwood Park Recreation Center, 1350 S. Sepulveda Blvd.
The amendment needs 205,000 signatures to qualify for the November, 1990, ballot. Similar meetings were held in East Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley.
