BOOMING BUSINESS: The expected 10,000 delegates at the Western Cable Conference (D5) will pad an already record year for Anaheim convention business--a cash cow that last year delivered $1.3 billion to the Anaheim area. . . . The city hosts close to 300 conventions a year and so far in 1989 has attracted 1 million exhibitors and delegates--the seventh straight year of increased attendance, according to the city’s Visitor and Convention Bureau.
