Ramos Still in Coma
PORTLAND, Ore. —
Portland Trailblazers forward Ramon Ramos remained in a coma early today after being critically injured when his speeding sports car went out of control on a slick freeway.
Hours after the Blazers’ 116-111 NBA loss to the Golden State Warriors on Friday night, Ramos was speeding along Interstate 5 south of Portland when his sports car hit a patch of ice and flipped over. Doctors put the chances for his survival at 50-50.
