Body Discovered Near Freeway Off-Ramp
An off-duty Los Angeles sheriff’s deputy Sunday found the body of a young Latino man alongside the Antelope Valley Freeway in Santa Clarita, authorities said.
The deputy found the unidentified man, believed to have been about 30, at 12:15 p.m. near the southbound Placerita Canyon Road exit, Sgt. Bruce Sonnenblick said. The victim appeared to have suffered puncture wounds to his chest, but it was unclear what kind of object caused the wounds, Sonnenblick said.
An autopsy will be performed this week to determine the cause of death, he said.
