CALIFORNIA IN BRIEF : PALM SPRINGS : No Damage Caused by 3.5 Temblor

A small quake rattled the Palm Springs area, but officials said there were no reports of injury or damage. The 3.5-magnitude temblor was centered about 19 miles southwest of the desert resort, said Robert Finn, a spokesman for Caltech in Pasadena. The quake was an aftershock of magnitude 4.3 quake on Dec. 2.
