SUPER AGENT: Leigh Steinberg, the sports agent who just negotiated the deal that makes Will Clark the first baseball player to receive $4 million in one year (C2), is now an Orange Countian, complete with Corona del Mar residence and Newport Beach office. . . . His wife, Lucy, raised in Newport Beach, wanted to be close to her family, and the county provides “a healthy environment for my son to grow up in,” Steinberg says. . . . He can also watch local clients work: kicker Mike Lansford, running back Gaston Green and quarterback Mark Herrmann of the Rams, and Angel second baseman Mark McLemore.
