Man Shot to Death in N. Hollywood Ambush
A North Hollywood man was shot to death ambush-style as he pulled out of his driveway Thursday, Los Angeles police reported.
Francisco Noguera, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 6:45 a.m. slaying in the 11600 block of Hamlin Street, Lt. Charles Massey said.
Noguera, described by police as a day laborer, was in his pickup when one or two Latino men approached the truck and shot him several times, Massey said.
The men may have fled in a blue car, Massey said. Authorities had not determined a motive for the slaying.
“This does not appear to be gang-related,” Massey said. “This man was 37 years old. He was not a gang person.”
