Edberg No Quitter: Quite the Opposite
Regarding the Edberg-Lendl match in the final of the Australian Open: You state Edberg “was in obvious pain from the middle of the second set on.” Clearly, to the observant viewer, Edberg was injured in the second game of the first set. He deserves credit for playing through the injury for as long as he did.
