Evert and Connors Serve for NBC: Tennis stars Chris Evert and Jimmy Connors are going to be together again--in an NBC broadcasting booth. Evert, 35, who retired from the pro circuit after last year’s U.S. Open, will make her network sportscasting debut in April at the Family Circle Cup in Hilton Head, S.C., and also will work the French Open and Wimbledon. Connors, the all-time men’s leader with 109 singles championships, will make his NBC debut in the booth at the French Open and also will handle Wimbledon.
