Shandling Will Host Grammys: Comedian Garry Shandling will be host of the 32nd annual Grammy Awards presentation, the Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences announced Wednesday. The Grammys will be presented Feb. 21 during a live, three-hour CBS-TV broadcast from the Shrine Auditorium. Shandling is best known as the slow-talking star of the Fox Broadcasting and Showtime comedy television series “It’s Garry Shandling’s Show.” Shandling was a writer for television comedies before developing a stand-up routine of his own in the mid-1970s. He has also appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” and “Late Night With David Letterman.”
