Times Promotes 2 to Vice President

The Los Angeles Times has promoted Paul Gledhill, director of production, to the new position of vice president-production, and Mike Williams, director of information systems, to the new position of vice president-systems and administration.

Gledhill, 48, continues to be responsible for The Times’ 3,000-member production department, including operations at the newspaper’s San Fernando Valley, Orange County and downtown Los Angeles plants.

In addition to information systems, which includes virtually all of The Times’ computer and telecommunications operations, Williams, 46, now oversees the newspaper’s administrative services and technical services departments.
