Scurry also had seven points during a 10-3 spurt late in the first half after the Cowboys (13-9) pulled to within three points.

David Butler, replaced by Scurry after picking up three fouls early in the game, scored all 13 of his points in the second half. Anderson Hunt also had 13 for the Rebels.

Byron Houston scored 23 points for Oklahoma State.
