CBS Suspends Andy Rooney

Poor Andy Rooney. And poor Al Campanis and Jimmy the Greek, too. The Race Question today is what Pinko Politics was in the 1950s. One may not hold an opinion, speak the unspeakable, or even think the unthinkable without losing one’s job, credibility and reputation. Sen. Joseph McCarthy, wherever he is, must be chortling.
