THE SIDELINES : Hawaii Women Beat Long Beach
Judy Mosley scored 25 points to lead No. 14 Hawaii over 10th-ranked Cal State Long Beach, 76-70, in a Big West game here Thursday night.
Hawaii ended its regular season 25-2 overall, 16-2 in the conference. The 49ers fell to 22-7, 14-4.
The Wahines held a 35-34 lead at intermission and held the lead until Penny Moore hit a 15-footer to give the 49ers a 62-61 lead with 4:31 left in the game.
However, Hawaii quickly regained the lead and held on the rest of the way.
Ayesha Brooks had 15 points for Hawaii, while Melissa Barker added 12. Trise Jackson led Long Beach with 17 points.
