UNION STATION/THE DEPOT 412 S. Raymond Ave., Pasadena:
The only shelter in Pasadena that provides hot food for anyone in need, serving about 200 meals a day. It also provides counseling, referrals, an in-house substance-abuse program, and shelter, primarily for single men. Can house up to 56 people. (818) 449-4596.
FOOTHILL JOBS 1242 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena:
A job placement agency for the needy. It also provides counseling and workshops on resume writing, interviewing skills and job preparation. (818) 793-5627.
OUR HOUSE 1753 N. Park Ave., Pomona:
Provides shelter for families and single women. It has 22 beds and allows a maximum stay of 30 days. (714) 629-3743.
