Brentwood : Dedication Ceremonies Set
Brentwood School will dedicate its $6-million Performing Arts/Library/Science Complex this weekend with a reception for major donors to the project on Saturday evening and an open house on Sunday.
The new four-story, 26,000-square-foot building will contain a library 10 times the size of the current one, four science laboratories, conference rooms, audiovisual facilities, a music room and a 300-seat theater. The building was designed by architect Leo A. Daly.
The school has already begun to occupy parts of the building, and completion of the final portion--the theater--is expected by the end of the month.
Brentwood School, at Layton Drive and Sunset Boulevard, is a private, coeducational, college preparatory school with an enrollment of 480 students in grades 7 through 12. For further information about Sunday’s open house, call the school at (213) 476-9633.
