Pacifica 10-8, Cypress 5-1--Mark Flatten had two hits and an RBI and Bob Anderson and Chris Shockley each had two hit for visiting Pacifica in the first game. Robert Toth (3-1) pitched five innings with 11 strikeouts in the second game for Pacifica.
La Quinta 10-8, Newport Harbor 1-3--Matt Logan drove in four runs in the first game for visiting La Quinta (6-3). He added two RBIs in the second game.
Hemet Baptist Christian 4-0, Liberty Christian 2-5 (first game, 9 innings)--Liberty Christian’s Mark Baltodano pitched a one-hitter with six strikeouts for the victory in the second game.
