One of two men sought in the murder of a pregnant woman who was slain when bandits invaded a Huntington Park condominium last month was arrested in Hawthorne on Tuesday night.

Walter Steve Scott, 18, was captured in Hawthorne by Huntington Park police officers who had been conducting a surveillance in the area for several days. They spotted Scott on West 135th Street, Sgt. Tom Rosales said. He was unarmed and offered no resistance.

The murder of Sylvia Enriquez, 24, who was 8-months pregnant, occurred during a three-hour reign of terror on Feb. 26, involving her in-laws, husband and 22-month-old son.
