Share

After failing to win in three outings and falling to 3-3-1 in the Northwest Valley Conference last week, Chatsworth High’s baseball team seemed to be facing hard times.

Chatsworth, however, defeated powerful Kennedy on Thursday for the second time in three days, posting a 4-0 conference win at Kennedy. The Chancellors beat Kennedy, 14-4, on Tuesday.

Chatsworth left-hander Danny Rodriguez (4-1) allowed three hits over six innings. Rodriguez walked two batters to open the seventh, but reliever Mitch Root retired the side.
