The much-delayed hearing of former track coach...
The much-delayed hearing of former track coach Chuck DeBus began as a three-person panel heard testimony from three witnesses, then adjourned at a hotel near Los Angeles International Airport.
DeBus, who coached at UCLA and Cal State Northridge, is being investigated by The Athletics Congress, which governs track and field in the United States, for allegedly providing drugs to athletes.
The witnesses--athletes Darrell Robinson, Steve Scott and Tonie Campbell--testified for more than 6 1/2 hours. The hearing, which has been postponed or continued six times, reconvenes today.
