McRae to Sign With Cal Poly Pomona

Times All-Valley forward Bobby McRae of Cleveland High said Tuesday he will sign a national letter of intent today to attend Cal Poly Pomona on a basketball scholarship.

McRae (6-foot-5, 180 pounds), an All-City Section selection who averaged 9.3 points and 10.1 rebounds a game in the past season, said he will sign a letter at his home in Reseda.

“I wasn’t really getting too many offers and Pomona was the best one I was getting,” McRae said.
