Flutist James Galway is ill with diverticulitis and will not perform today in a concert sponsored by the Orange County Philharmonic Society at the Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa, a Philharmonic Society spokesman said Monday. The Tokyo String Quartet, however, will appear as scheduled, with guest artists to be announced. Ticket-holders may request refunds at point of purchase until April 30. Information: (714) 646-6277.
