Most Arts & Entertainment Network programs air twice each night. That’s because of the complications of cable: The West Coast receives the same programming live as it appears on the East Coast, rather than on a delayed basis a la major TV networks.
So in order for A&E; to air shows in prime time in both coasts, A&E; has been airing them twice nightly.
