Westminster, Ocean View to Restart Game
Westminster and Ocean View high schools will restart a baseball game in the fifth inning today, after the Sunset League principals and athletic directors on Tuesday upheld a Westminster protest.
In the April 6 game, which Ocean View won, 7-2, John Arnold ran past second base attempting to steal second as Micah Edwardson took ball four and was tagged out. Initially, Arnold was called out but the umpire changed his decision. The game will resume with two outs and Edwardson on first base and Ocean View leading, 2-1.
The game will resume at 3:15 at Westminster.
