TRACK--The Marina High School girls’ team placed first in the Sunset League track and field championships Friday night, edging Ocean View, 117-116. The results were incorrectly announced at the meet and were later corrected; however, the earlier results were reported in Saturday’s editions. Ocean View, however, still won the league title because Marina had to forfeit all four of its league victories for using an ineligible athlete.

In the girls’ competition, Ocean View won the title with 116 points, only one more than Marina. Edison was third with 94.
