HUNTINGTON BEACH — A man suffered chest injuries Saturday night when he apparently drove his car into the Bolsa Chica wetlands.
Police and fire officials were not sure how the accident occurred but said the car was submerged in the wetlands along the Pacific Coast Highway, just south of Warner Avenue.
The severity of the man’s injuries was not disclosed, nor was his identity. Authorities did not know how the man got out of the car. They were still trying to determine whether he was alone in the vehicle Saturday night.
