Car-Pool Day

Most people do not wish to car-pool because it is inconvenient: you cannot work late, make a dental appointment, or go out to lunch.
My suggestion is that Caltrans require each business to have one “Car-Pool Day” per week.
All employees of that business would car-pool on that one day. If all businesses and employees participated, traffic would be reduced by 20% or more on any given day.
Not bad!
