Jim Valvano, former North Carolina State basketball coach, said “it’s very likely” that he will sign a contract to become a basketball analyst for ABC. The Greensboro News & Record reported that Valvano would sign a three-year, $900,000 contract to become color analyst for ABC and ESPN next season. Neither network would confirm the report, the newspaper said.
