ANAHEIM : Gunfire Kills Boy, Wounds 2nd Person
A 13-year-old boy was killed and at least one other person was wounded in an apparent drive-by shooting late Sunday night, authorities said.
Details were not immediately available, but the shooting apparently occurred near the intersection of Sabina and Sycamore streets about 9:30 p.m., police said.
The boy was taken to Anaheim Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Another victim was in serious condition at UCI Medical Center in Orange with three bullet wounds, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Police were seeking a white Monte Carlo in connection with the shooting.
