Body of Woman Found Near Freeway Identified
The Los Angeles County coroner’s office on Monday identified a body found last week near the Foothill Freeway in San Dimas as that of Pamela Riedel, 27 of Long Beach.
County coroner’s spokesman Scott Carrier said her body was spotted by a motorist. Sheriff’s deputies took the body from a bushy embankment near the Covina Boulevard off-ramp, said Deputy Hal Grant of the sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Sheriff’s officials were searching for clues in the death Monday. Carrier said an autopsy had not been scheduled.
