Paramount Communications: The New York entertainment and publishing company reported that second-quarter profit fell 67.7% to $21.2 million. Revenue was up 16.2% to $811.5 million. Paramount said last year’s quarterly results reflected a substantial one-time profit from discontinuing of certain operations.
