Close Call: Fiery Crash Leads to 1 Minor Injury
While changing lanes Monday evening on the Pomona Freeway at the southbound Orange (57) Freeway interchange, Francisco Neri of Rowland Heights collided with a vehicle driven by Scott Baker of Sacramento.
Although his pickup truck was engulfed in flames after overturning and skidding 100 feet, Neri suffered only minor injuries, and Scott was unhurt.
An off-duty paramedic attended to Neri, right, while Scott watched.
Two lanes were closed for more than an hour after the crash.
