SANTA ANA : Invocation Day Proclaimed by City
Santa Ana has joined the cities of Los Angeles and Long Beach in proclaiming Friday as World Invocation Day, an occasion which brings together members of meditation and prayer groups from Orange and Los Angeles counties to “celebrate spiritual unity of mankind and interfaith cooperation,” said event spokeswoman Dana L. Drake.
The 38th annual celebration will include a Festival of Goodwill at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Unitarian Church of Orange County, 1120 W. Santa Ana St., Anaheim. The event will include music, meditation and a presentation on the theme of World Invocation Day.
