Face of Clay: A group opposed to media portrayals of violence against women and homosexuals claimed credit Monday for defacing the entrance to 20th Century Fox Studios, which is promoting a movie starring controversial comedian Andrew Dice Clay. Activists Against Sexist Pigs, a group formed following Clay’s rise to prominence, spray-painted “Boycott Sexism” in red on the studio’s entrance columns at Pico Boulevard and Motor Avenue, said a woman who identified herself as a member but refused to give her name. AASP members also claimed credit for defacing a poster promoting Clay’s soon-to-be-released film, “Ford Fairlane,” at the movie studio headquarters, she said. The group also claims to have defaced a Sunset Strip billboard of Clay after the comedian hosted “Saturday Night Live” last month.
