Steve Howe, hospitalized for treatment of a blood clot in his lung, apparently will be able to continue his attempted comeback, said John Jonas, general manager of the Salinas Spurs of the Class-A California League.
Jonas said the former Dodger relief pitcher probably will rejoin the Spurs today or Saturday. He said Howe speculated that he probably could pitch again in about three weeks.
