No Ryan: Although most of the nation will be able to see former California Angel pitcher Nolan Ryan go after his 300th victory tonight with the Texas Rangers, contractual commitments bar ESPN from showing the game in Southern California, except for San Diego. Southland viewers will receive a Toronto Blue Jays-Baltimore Orioles game at 4:30 p.m., and a Seattle Mariners-Oakland Athletics game at 7:30 p.m. An ESPN spokeswoman said the network will show the final out of the Rangers-Milwaukee Brewers game live if it assures Ryan of his 300th win.
