Dexter Manley told NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue through his attorney that he is dropping attempts to get out of his contract with the Washington Redskins and sign with a Canadian team.
Manley, banned for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy, said he hopes to play in the league after Nov. 18, when he is eligible to be reinstated.
