Kreek Named President of Fox Cable Division

Robert M. Kreek has been named president of Fox Cable Programming, a new division of Fox Inc. that will offer satellite programming services to the cable television industry.

Kreek, 42, is the former president and chief operating officer of Fox Television Stations Inc. Before joining Fox, he was a senior vice president at HBO.

A Fox spokesman said Kreek, in his new position, will investigate the possibilities for Fox in cable. The company has not yet decided what type of programming Fox would offer, he added.

Greg A. Nathanson will succeed Kreek as president of Fox Television Stations. Nathanson will also continue to manage operations at KTTV television station.
