A transient has been arrested in Sacramento in connection with the July 5 death of Linda Blackburn, whose body was found near the archery range in the Palm Canyon section of Balboa Park, police said.
The death of Blackburn, a 38-year-old transient, was ruled a strangulation by the county coroner’s office.
James John Nimblett, also a transient, is being held without bail in Sacramento for San Diego police, police spokesman Bill Robinson said.
