SEAL BEACH — Two men were shot and wounded early this morning as they argued with the occupants of another car while driving on an on-ramp to the San Diego Freeway.
Leif Danielson, 22, of Greeley, Colo., was shot in the left foot and Kenneth Miller, 22, of Costa Mesa was shot in the left thigh about 2:25 a.m., police said.
Danielson and Miller were heading onto the southbound lanes of the San Diego Freeway at the 7th Street on-ramp when they got into a confrontation with the occupants of a late-model red Pontiac Trans-Am, Seal Beach police dispatcher Carl Liebold said. One of the unidentified occupants in the Pontiac suddenly opened fire, striking Danielson and Miller.
The nature of the dispute was not immediately known.
