O.C. Cardinals Advance in Connie Mack Series

Jeff Hale relieved Kent Donnelly in the fourth inning for the Orange County Cardinals Saturday night, and shut down the Dallas Mustangs for a 13-8 victory in the second round of the Connie Mack World Series in Farmington, N.M.

The Cardinals’ next game will be Monday night against the Farmington Mets (1-0) in the third round. Both the Cardinals and Mets had first-round byes.
