A 19-year-old man who police believe was the target of a gang-related shooting died Wednesday at a local hospital, authorities said.
Sinh Samone Chanthavixay died of multiple gunshot wounds in the neck and head about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday at UC San Diego Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Chanthavixay was shot at Colina Park in the 5200 block of 52nd Place, shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday, San Diego Police Lt. Dan Berglund said.
Police are looking for Luthsack Mounivong, 21, address unknown, in connection with the shooting, Berglund said.
