Cypress Opens Series With Michigan Team

The Cypress Little League all-star team, which Saturday night became the first Cypress and third Orange County team to qualify for the Little League World Series, will meet a team from Brooklyn, Mich., at 2 p.m. (PDT) Tuesday in Williamsport, Pa.

If Cypress, which defeated Idaho, 3-2, Saturday in San Bernardino, wins Tuesday, it will play in the semifinals on Thursday against the winner of the game between Shippensburg, Pa., and Cottage Hill, Ala.
