The Times, Cable Firm Join for Expanded TV Listings
The Los Angeles Times Valley Edition and United Artists Cable have entered into an agreement for The Times to produce an expanded weekly television guide with broadcast and cable television listings tailored to viewers in the cable company’s service area.
The new book, a redesigned version of TV Times, appeared for the first time Sunday in all copies of The Times delivered or sold in the area served by United Artists Cable, which includes Panorama City, Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, Toluca Lake, Studio City, North Hollywood, San Fernando and Pacoima.
There are about 70,000 cable subscribers in the area.
