Michigan State place-kicker John Langeloh will be sentenced Sept. 19 after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct at a party he hosted last fall.

Langeloh entered the plea Wednesday before Ingham County Circuit Judge Lawrence Glazer.

Langeloh and Paul Butland, the brother of Spartan punter Josh Butland, originally were charged with two felonies, selling alcoholic beverages without a license and operating an illegal liquor establishment.

They were arrested after two undercover police officers attended an Oct. 21 homecoming party at the pair’s East Lansing home and allegedly were told they had to buy cups for $3 to get beer from kegs in the back yard.

Butland pleaded guilty to the same reduced charge last week.
